The Stage 3 L83 Camshaft is the perfect mix of power and drivability for those who want to stretch their L83’s legs out in the mid-upper RPM band and turn heads in parking lots. With the Stage 3 you will get a choppy idle tone and a broad powerband. A 2800+ stall torque converter is recommended for best drivability and performance in a 5.3L. The Stage 3 L83 Camshaft requires the use of a 4* VVT Phaser limiter block to maintain proper piston to valve clearance.
